The Ubuntu Studio Team is pleased to announce that Ubuntu Studio 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) Beta 1 has been released!

This release introduces some new applications, a rewritten icon theme, new menu items, and a new lowlatency kernel based on Linux v3.8 kernel.

If you find any bugs, please report them – http://www.ubuntu.com/community/report-problem. If you’re unsure it’s a bug, please just post on this list and let us know what kind of problem you are having.

And also, we are now accepting submissions of our wallpapers for inclusion in the final release images of Ubuntu Studio 13.04 (Raring Ringtail).

Put in your wallpaper in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuStudio/Artwork/Wallpaper and if your wallpaper is good enough we will include your wallpaper into the images or even set your wallpaper by default!

Ubuntu Studio Team’s work for 13.04 (Raring Ringtail) cycle has almost finished. We are now at the final stages for accepting artwork contributions and also testing the images.
